Be inspired by two radiologists who have truly taken their diagnostic reading to the next level. Dr. Mattias Mjöman from Region Skåne in Sweden and Dr. Peter Poullos from Stanford Health Care in the US will share how they—in two completely different ways—have optimized their productivity by tailoring their diagnostic workstations.

Mattias has innovatively utilized various devices to minimize mouse miles and added an arsenal of shortcuts to, for example, configure display protocols in a fraction of the time it normally takes.

Peter is currently pursuing a project in which he aims to control PACS using his voice, and he can perform his reading without any physical interaction.

Become inspired by their experiences and ideas, and learn about the benefits and shortcomings of using various devices and software to optimize your diagnostic reading.

  • Mattias Mjöman, Region Skåne
  • Peter Poullos, Stanford Health Care

  • Chris Scarisbrick, Sales Director, Sectra UK

The implementation of AI in radiology is under way and we seem to have reached a state where the adoption of so-called AI marketplaces will be the highway to fast and secure AI adoption. In this session, Dr. Haris Shuaib, senior physicist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in the UK, will share his experiences of integrating AI applications into the existing workflow, and the benefits and challenges he has experienced.

Dr. Wouter Veldhuis, a radiologist from UMC Utrecht in the Netherlands, will discuss the importance of a single technical infrastructure and the journey ahead. As part of this, UMCU together with Sectra are developing a platform that will contain AI applications from various vendors, tightly integrated into the workflow.

Nynke Breimer, Product Manager for Sectra’s AI marketplace, will join this session and share her thoughts on what to expect from AI in the years to come.

  • Wouter Veldhuis, UMC Utrecht
  • Haris Shuaib, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
