Sectra Image Lab

Cloud-based platform for computer aided or fully automated medical image analysis applications

For image analysis companies: cost-effective and scalable

Sectra Image Lab offers companies straightforward, cost-effective access to a proven online platform for delivery of image analysis applications. Both the already installed base and newly connected healthcare institutions and regions are instantly available to all connected companies. The platform is seamlessly integrated with the clinical workflow and on-site systems such as RIS, HIS and PACS.

Sectra Image Lab also provides centralized service and support, completely vendor neutral integration via standard DICOM communication and scalability to ensure the service can grow with an increasing demand.

For clinicians: straightforward, flexible and secure

Sectra Image Lab gives clinicians straightforward, flexible access to applications for medical image analysis as a service. Examinations are sent directly from the PACS to Sectra’s secure datacenter for analysis. The results are then returned to the senders system. Examinations are de-identified and encrypted prior to leaving the hospital network. The available applications are integrated into the clinical workflow, and the healthcare provider is invoiced either on a monthly or quarterly basis, or for a subscription.

Available applications

AMRA is dedicated to metabolic research and its therapeutic application, providing the knowledge needed to predict and prevent diseases. AMRA™ Profiler provides precise body composition measurements and advanced phenotyping using quantified MR imaging, a relatively new field in which AMRA is a world-leader. Individuals are examined via a 6-minute (on average) scan in any 1.5T or 3T scanner, with images acquired using AMRA’s protocol. The images are securely uploaded to AMRA’s cloud to be analyzed by a post-processing software that automatically measures various fat and muscle volumes.
