Privacy Policy: customer satisfaction survey
Sectra recognizes and respects the importance of privacy for our customer satisfaction survey respondents. This provides an account of the personal data we collect. Under the terms of the GDPR, Sectra AB is the data controller for your personal data. Our Data Protection Officer can be contacted at dpo@sectra.com.
Personal data (e.g. name, email address, job title, workplace and opinions about Sectra’s services) and non-personal data (e.g. your operating system and browser) provided to Sectra AB through this survey will be used only by companies within the Sectra Group, its subcontractors and service providers per the sections below.
Data collection and storage
Data collected in the survey (e.g. email, survey ID, IP address, answers) is stored in the survey vendor tool, GetFeedback, for maximum 18 months. The score of 1–10 for how likely someone is to recommend Sectra is stored in Sectra’s Customer Relationship Management system, Microsoft Dynamics, and is deleted after a maximum of 12 months after the individual is no longer a customer.
AI-assisted processing
Survey responses, including personal data such as name, email address and free-text answers, may be processed using AI-assisted tools (currently Anthropic Claude, operated under an Enterprise agreement including a Data Processing Agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses) to support internal analysis activities. This includes identifying patterns and trends across survey cycles and supporting internal follow-up work such as action planning aimed at improving Sectra’s products, services and customer experience. Such processing is carried out solely by Sectra employees and the data is not used to train AI models.
Purpose and legal basis
The data we collect and process are: your name, your contact details, your workplace, the services which Sectra has provided to you, and data concerning your opinions about our services.
The legal basis for processing your personal data is Sectra’s legitimate interest in improving customer satisfaction and service quality, grounded in our desire for continual improvement of customer satisfaction and relations. This includes tracking longitudinal trends across survey cycles.
No automated decisions will be made about you or your business relationship with Sectra based on your survey responses. Where your responses are linked across time to identify trends in your opinions of our work, this is done to improve our services and not to make decisions affecting you or your business.
International transfers
As a global company, Sectra may transfer personal data it has collected on an aggregate or individual level to various divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies of the Sectra Group around the world located inside or outside the European Economic Area for the purposes stated above. Where data is transferred to sub-processors outside the EU, including Anthropic, appropriate safeguards are in place in the form of Standard Contractual Clauses. Your data will never be shared with any external recipients other than Anthropic.
Retention
We will delete or anonymize your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected and subsequently processed. Owing to the fact that we collect your data in order to perform longitudinal analysis, and in accordance with Sectra’s internal documentation retention policy, your personal data will be kept for a maximum of 7 years.
Changes
This privacy policy was last updated on June 4, 2026. We reserve the right to amend and/or delete this privacy policy at any time, at our sole discretion, without providing prior notice to you. The current version of this privacy policy is on the website.
Your rights
Under the terms of the GDPR, you have a series of rights regarding your personal data. Sectra may have legitimate and legal reasons for overriding these rights under certain circumstances. You have the right not to provide requested data at any time, though doing so may limit Sectra’s capacity to meet your customer-satisfaction needs.
Once per calendar year, you may at no cost obtain information regarding the personal data, relating to you as a data subject, that has been processed by Sectra. In addition, you always have the right to:
- access your personal data and be informed of the circumstances under which it is held and processed
- request rectification of incorrect data
- request erasure of your personal data where you no longer wish Sectra to hold it
- restrict the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances
- receive your data in an easily readable format and transfer it to another controller without hindrance (data portability)
- object to the processing of your personal data
- file a complaint with your national data protection authority or other relevant supervisory authority
If you revoke your consent or object to processing, your personal data will be deleted as soon as possible.
