Linköping, Sweden – December 22, 2016 – International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (http://www.sectra.com/) (STO: SECT B) announces that the Saarland University Medical Center in Germany is now using Sectra’s IT solution for handling medical images (PACS and VNA) across seven different medical disciplines. Sectra’s solution simplifies sharing of both workload and patient images across the multiple departments. In addition, using a single system for image handling also reduces cost and workload for the IT department.

Linköping, Sweden, December 19, 2016 - International medical imaging IT company Sectra (http://www.sectra.com/) (STO: SECT B) announces that the Swedish regional healthcare provider, Västerbotten County Council, will digitize the storage, viewing, and sharing of its pathology images. Sectra’s digital pathology solution allows for a greater percentage of studies to be reviewed digitally at any of the region’s hospitals, regardless of where the examination occurred. Pathologists in a nearby region, Jämtland Härjedalen, will also use the solution.

With this solution, the radiology services across the group’s sites will benefit from efficient sharing of both images and workload. Having access to the complete patient history regardless of the imaging center that the patient has attended will also benefit patient care. Sectra recently announced an agreement with a distribution partner in South Africa and this is the first order in that market.

The solution is built on the same platform as Sectra’s radiology solution, which is already available in Russia through a previous distribution agreement. Linköping - October 25, 2016 - The Norwegian healthcare provider Helse Vest RHF is investing in a region-wide radiology IT solution from Sectra (http://www.sectra.com/) (STO: SECT B) for managing radiology images and patient information. The agreement extends for 6 years and the order is, over this agreement period, valued at a total of NOK 57 million (corresponding to approximately EUR 5,7 million). Sectra’s IT solution (RIS and PACS) will improve the availability and simplify the communication of patient images within and between the hospitals in the region, making it easier for radiologists to carry out their daily work and contributing to more efficient and higher quality care. In addition, the solution will help provide greater opportunities to share resources between hospitals.

The interface was created as part of a strong cooperation with Deutsche Telekom Healthcare Solutions (Netherlands).
