Sectra signs enterprise-wide PACS contract with University of Pennsylvania Health System in the US

Linköping, Sweden and Shelton, CT – March 29, 2017 – International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (STO: SECT B) announces that the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) will install Sectra PACS in their healthcare enterprise. The Sectra solution, integrated with UPHS’s radiology information system, Epic Radiant, and the Epic EMR, will enable access and sharing of images and information across the entire clinical pathway. Additionally, UPHS and Sectra will enter into a development and research partnership within enterprise diagnostic imaging.

The multi-year agreement includes Sectra PACS for all diagnostic radiology, Sectra Breast Imaging PACS for mammography workflow, 2D and 3D orthopaedic templating tools as well as a complete advanced visualization portfolio. The University of Pennsylvania Health System serves patients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the surrounding region through a network of five hospitals and ten multispecialty centers.
