Sectra has recently acquired Oxipit, a company specializing in autonomous AI solutions for radiology called ChestEye and ChestLink. By safely reducing routine workload, this model directly addresses the growing challenge of rising imaging volumes and persistent workforce constraints, while operating under rigorously validated safety thresholds. The solutions are available through Sectra Amplifier Marketplace for AI, supporting seamless integration into existing radiology workflows. Algorithms are CE-marked and currently in the process for FDA submission.

Multidisciplinary conferences (MDCs) are an important part of patient care for diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring treatment response. This session traces that path: from reporting technology Sectra is putting in radiologists’ hands today, to the “digital fellow,” where diagnostic and reporting AI work as one assistant that prepares the case, drafts findings, and refines them as the radiologist reviews. Looking ahead to RSNA and beyond, we explore where this leads, including tasks well beyond the report itself.
