Chest X-ray AI

Chest X-ray AI for semi- and fully autonomous reporting

The CE-marked medical devices ChestLink™ and ChestEye™ read chest X-rays alongside radiologists, from prioritizing the worklist to reporting confidently normal studies, at the level of autonomy your department chooses.

How does AI support chest X-ray reading?

Chest X-ray AI reads incoming studies, prioritizes the worklist, drafts findings, and reports confidently normal studies, so radiologists’ attention goes to the cases that need it. ChestLink™ and ChestEye™ support every step of the reading workflow, and the same two devices run both levels of support: a semi-autonomous workflow where radiologists sign every case, and a fully autonomous workflow where confirmed normal studies are reported automatically.**

Start semi-autonomous and switch on autonomy when ready

62% Shorter reporting time at Unilabs Portugal*
35% Less radiologist time spent on diagnostic chest X-ray workflows*
25% Reporting time savings across TMC, Unilabs' teleradiology operation*

Semi-autonomous workflow: radiologists sign every case

ChestLink™ and ChestEye™**, fully managed on Sectra Amplifier Services, identify the confidently normal studies, list them, and hold them ready for review and sign-off. Everything runs inside the Sectra IDS7 diagnostic application: CAD, triage, contour overlays, pathology labels, and automated report drafts for normal findings.

Fully autonomous workflow: normal studies reported automatically

The same two devices run the fully autonomous workflow. Everything from the semi-autonomous setup stays, and reports for confirmed normal studies are signed off automatically. At Unilabs, the fully autonomous workflow saved up to 35% of the radiologist time spent on diagnostic chest X-ray workflows.*

* Results are “up to” values as measured and reported by Unilabs, one of Europe’s largest diagnostics providers, operating 250 imaging centers across 14 countries.
** ChestLink™ and ChestEye™ are CE-marked medical devices under the EU Medical Device Regulation, validated in clinical studies. Availability and intended use vary by market.

How to get started

Sectra onboards ChestLink™ and ChestEye™ through Sectra Amplifier Services and enables them in your existing Sectra IDS7 diagnostic application. Start with the semi-autonomous workflow and switch on full autonomy when your department is ready.
