Enhancing radiology workflows: Sectra and Siemens Healthineers enable seamless integration across systems for better patient care

Linköping, Sweden – February 24, 2025 – International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (https://sectra.com/) (STO: SECT B) and Siemens Healthineers AG are collaborating to improve radiologists' diagnostic capabilities and, as such, patient care through a seamless integration. The two companies are working together to enable radiologists to access and post-process Siemens Healthineers’ NAEOTOM Alpha class photon-counting CT (PCCT) images within Sectra’s diagnostic application for radiology. This integration avoids the need for Sectra users to switch to a separate application or workstation for efficient PCCT viewing.

Large Swedish healthcare region expands use of Sectra’s solution with digital pathology to enhance cancer diagnostics

Linköping, Sweden – February 11, 2025 – International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (https://sectra.com/) (STO: SECT B) announces that Region Västra Götaland, Sweden’s second largest healthcare region, will use Sectra’s digital pathology solution. This marks an expansion of a more than 20-year collaboration for medical imaging between the healthcare provider and Sectra. The digital pathology solution will enable the hospitals, that also use Sectra for radiology, to efficiently carry out the entire imaging diagnostic process within a single application, while also providing tools for enhanced collaboration. This will contribute to improved diagnostic accuracy and speed of treatment, with the goal of improving especially cancer care in the region.

Sectra keeps #1 position in customer satisfaction—earns 8 Best in KLAS awards within radiology and digital pathology
