The solution will allow their clinicians to complete the entire diagnostic process within a single application, with all necessary tools easily accessible, significantly enhancing productivity within their radiology, breast imaging and cardiology departments. It will also allow them to adapt the solution to future needs, such as the ability to integrate AI. Streamlined workflows will help them speed up diagnostics, ultimately improving patient care in the region.

Linköping, Sweden – April 8, 2025 – International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (https://sectra.com/) (STO: SECT B) signs distribution agreement with pathology AI vendor Paige.AI (Paige). The applications from Paige will be the first AI applications for pathology available via Sectra through a single contract, a single hosting solution, and a single vendor for implementation, integration and support. Following this new distribution contract, Sectra’s fully managed AI offering includes applications for radiology, cardiology and pathology.

The digital solution will enhance diagnostic speed by enabling pathologists to review and collaborate on cases more effectively. The two companies are working together to enable radiologists to access and post-process Siemens Healthineers’ NAEOTOM Alpha class photon-counting CT (PCCT) images within Sectra’s diagnostic application for radiology. This integration avoids the need for Sectra users to switch to a separate application or workstation for efficient PCCT viewing.

This marks an expansion of a more than 20-year collaboration for medical imaging between the healthcare provider and Sectra. The digital pathology solution will enable the hospitals, that also use Sectra for radiology, to efficiently carry out the entire imaging diagnostic process within a single application, while also providing tools for enhanced collaboration. This will contribute to improved diagnostic accuracy and speed of treatment, with the goal of improving especially cancer care in the region.
