When will registration open?
Registration will open in January, but mark your calendars now and plan for time away from your health system.
Will Sectra pay for my airfare and hotel?
Given the unique nature of the overseas event, Sectra will cover airfare and hotel costs for the meeting, regardless of the existing contractual terms.
Is there a registration fee to attend the meeting?
No.
How do I book the travel to Sweden?
We are finalizing the travel arrangements and will communicate that information soon.
How do I get to Linköping?
We are looking into several options to get our attendees from their international arrival airports to Linköping.
Is Sectra organizing the hotels in Sweden?
Yes. We have reserved hotel rooms and will ensure you have a room upon registration for the meeting. More information will be shared shortly.
What nights will be covered in the hotel in Sweden?
Sectra will pay for the hotel on September 9, 10, 11, and 12. Additional nights will be paid by the attendee.
Will Sectra pay for me to get/renew a passport?
No. The attendee will be responsible for this cost.
Will Sectra pay for an airline ticket in business class?
No. Sectra will cover the cost of an economy, round-trip ticket for the attendee. Upgrades must be paid by the attendee.
Do I need to get money exchanged before I travel?
No. Sweden is a cashless country. All transactions can be completed with credit cards.
What credit cards are usually accepted?
Visa and MasterCard are usually accepted, while only some locations take American Express. It’s recommended to have a few different credit cards in case one doesn’t work.
What is the weather like in early September in Sweden?
Daytime temperatures will be in the 60s and evenings in the 50s.
Do I need to get a visa or any permissions to travel to Sweden?
Maybe. We are watching the ETIAS website to see when the program officially goes into effect.
