Digital Pathology:
From concept to reality across health and social care in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland is an early adopter of digital pathology and was the first in the UK to implement this as an enterprise imaging service to include radiology and digital pathology within the same system. This presentation will focus on the successful implementation of digital pathology in Northern Ireland. It will take the audience through the drivers that paved the way for implementation, the implementation process, and the subsequent lessons learned.
