Implementing AI in clinical radiology

Sectra webinar in conjunction with ECR 2020 Online

The implementation of AI in radiology is under way and we seem to have reached a state where the adoption of so-called AI marketplaces will be the highway to fast and secure AI adoption. In this webinar, listen to an expert panel sharing and discussing experiences from implementing AI in clinical radiology, the importance of a single technical infrastructure, and what to expect from AI in the years to come.

Dr. Haris Shuaib, senior physicist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in the UK, shares his experiences of integrating AI applications into the existing workflow, and the benefits and challenges he has experienced.

Dr. Wouter Veldhuis, a radiologist from UMC Utrecht in the Netherlands, discusses the importance of a single technical infrastructure and the journey ahead. As part of this, UMCU together with Sectra are developing a platform that will contain AI applications from various vendors, tightly integrated into the workflow.

Nynke Breimer, Product Manager for Sectra’s AI marketplace, shares her thoughts on what to expect from AI in the years to come.

In conjunction with ECR 2020 Online, Sectra arranged three hot-topic webinars with a great line-up of speakers. This was the second out of three, and it was recorded on July 16, 2020. The webinar includes a Q & A session with the panel at the end.
